NEW Centre Opening 18th October 2025 - Tickets available now

At The British Bird of Prey Centre, we believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the magic of birds of prey. Our new site has been designed with accessibility and inclusivity at its heart, so no matter your needs, you’ll find a warm welcome here.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Easy access throughout – the entire site is completely flat, making it simple for wheelchairs, buggies, and anyone with mobility needs to get around.

  • Accessible facilities – we have disabled- and dementia-friendly toilets, plus baby changing facilities.

  • Tailored experiences – our bird flying sessions can be adapted for all ages and abilities. Birds will happily fly to anyone, whether standing or sitting.

  • Quiet spaces – if you need time out, there are calm areas available. You can also contact us in advance for advice on the quieter times to visit.

  • Carers go free – to make visits easier and more affordable, essential carers can accompany visitors free of charge.

  • Supportive team – our staff are always on hand to help and are happy to adjust activities so everyone feels included and comfortable.

We know that every visitor is different. If you or someone in your group has specific needs, just get in touch before your visit and we’ll do everything we can to make your day as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
