Fly a Bird – Yes, Really!

Every day, you and your family have the chance to do something unforgettable — fly one of our amazing birds of prey!

There are three flying sessions each day, and you don’t need to book in advance. Just turn up and grab your spot!

🦉 Owl Flying – 12:00pm & 2:30pm
🪶 Kite Flying – 3:30pm

Tickets are £10 per person and can be bought exclusively at The British Bird of Prey Centre when you arrive. Numbers are limited to 15 people per session, so we recommend grabbing your ticket early in the day to avoid missing out.

What to Expect

Your falconer will give you a glove and introduce you to one of our beautiful birds.
You’ll learn how to safely call the bird to your hand and take turns flying it in a small group.
There’s no age or ability limit, so the whole family can join in!
Friends and family can watch for free and capture the moment on camera – it’s definitely one for the photo album!

🎟️ If you’ve got a gift voucher, just bring it with you on the day — no need to book online. Show it at the entrance to the Garden to gain access.
