Learning with The British Bird of Prey Centre
The British Bird of Prey Centre provides exciting education sessions about our natural environment. Visitors can enjoy interactive learning activities, flying displays, and see a collection of native birds including owls, eagles, kites, falcons, and hawks.

School Visits
School visits offer an opportunity to meet our full collection of birds of prey, with engaging, curriculum-linked lessons and activities for all ages and abilities.

Home Education
We welcome visits by Home Educators both as day visits or a six-week programme of learning sessions, which involve lots of fun, practical activities and learning opportunities, with optional suggestions of activities to be done at home.

Outreach Visits
At certain times of the year, we offer interactive Outreach Visits to schools. We bring some of our beautiful birds for half or full-day lessons tailored to each year group's needs, ensuring an engaging and thrilling educational experience.

Cynefin
Our aim is to inspire a passion for animals and their protection. By meeting birds that can be found in Wales we encourage a sense of ‘cynefin’ (belonging).
Usually the children tell us the best part of their trip was the bus or the food but this time they were so excited about seeing the birds. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to see such amazing creatures up close.
